I've tried my password and my username which is *e-mail* and it saids invalid pass! When i check my email i got this strange message in chinese that saids my email and somebodys elses email. I translated it and it saids that my email has been changed to the other guys email. So is there any way to get my account back? Please help!

I'm not really sure about your password, but i don't think publicly displaying your account name will help.

Did you try Forgot Password?

Try reset your password, you might get lucky..

Did you download a third party program or share your account information with someone?

If you have kept your campain access keys I suggest you send an email to support with your registration email screenshot and your keys and see what they can do for you, if you give them enough information I don't see a reason why they could not get your account back, if indeed it has been hacked..

Also you could look for your account on websits like ebay or candyman if it was stolen they might try to sell it.

A month ago I got a strange email message myself in some Asian language script from Paypal, so because of that incident I suggest making your plea immediately and NOW to ANet support. It was someone who bought something through Paypal using old credit card info stored there. Don't wait a second longer.

While you are at it get rid of your yahoo and google bar they will tend to let spyware in.I would get zonealarm and keep on when on the net.

Firefox FTW. Alaso, having bought a couple of accounts from friends I know that you have to approve any change of email address from the original. If he was able to do this then you should also assume that your email is also compromised. You should change email accounts.

As SOON as i saw this thread i suspected you had a Yahoo or Hotmail account.

For anyone out there who uses one of these email accounts i recommend you change it, or make a new one and only use it for Guild wars alone and keep it a secret.

These email accounts are hackable, all that is needed by the hacker is the email address alone.. Don't pm me for any further information, but i know there are hackers out there charging 50$ a time for this service, they are not my friends etc etc....

Sorry to hear about your email. I suffered a similar case, and had a run around with Anet about it. If you're not registered to PlayNC now, I suggest you do, and make this report ASAP. Have you tried logging into the game?
